So Friday I followed my doctor's advice and got a flu shot for this year along with a tetanus shot and a few other tests. I'm sure this has nothing to do with the shot, but now I've got some chest congestion that I believe will turn into bronchitis if I don't get treated soon. Ugh, why sickness has come to my aura, but I hope to be better before the trip to Springfield, IL to visit with the fam. I don't want to get them all sick or have them see me hacking all over the place. Ewww.

I've never had a flu shot for that very reason. I don't trust them. Hot and sour soup is the cure for all that ails you.
Ditto. I don'tg et the flu shot because I know my sickly body will just turn it into the flu. But one thign to keep in mind, is once you start taking it, don't stop. Your body is building up an imunity to each flu virus and if you stop...you're body won't know what to do.
That sucks because I was just thinking about not getting one anymore "Rain on parade". I went back to the doctor and she told me it was a bad cold but since I'm traveling over Christmas to see the family she put me on antibiotics just in case it turns into a sinus infection or bronchitis.
